Koester Corporation has a rich history of growth and diversification that has been driven by a commitment to quality and innovation. Founded in 1970 in Defiance, Ohio, Koester Corporation began its journey by providing control panels for the foundry industry. As the company grew, we expanded our expertise and services to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
By 1990, Koester Corporation opened a manufacturing division focused on mechanical and structural fabrication. This expansion allowed us to offer a broader range of services, enhancing our ability to deliver comprehensive solutions to our customers. In 2009, we relocated to Napoleon, Ohio, combining our panel shop and manufacturing division into a state-of-the-art 42,400-square-foot facility. This move also marked the establishment of our electrical engineering division in downtown Napoleon, providing our clients with a full suite of in-house services.
In 2012, we continued to expand our capabilities by adding a 20,000-square-foot addition to our manufacturing facility. Today, Koester Corporation operates as a diversified manufacturing enterprise with multiple divisions specializing in electrical engineering, industrial control manufacturing, machining, fabrication, and machine building. Our ability to integrate these services allows us to offer tailored solutions, whether clients require a complete package or individual services.
