Job Details:
This is a senior-level field and programming role responsible for leading automation design, programming, integration, and commissioning for commercial and government BAS projects. You’ll work closely with internal teams, installers, and customers to ensure smooth system implementation and ongoing optimization.
Responsibilities:
- Program custom DDC applications from scratch or using pre-built libraries
- Lead automation system design and prepare documentation for submittals
- Integrate and program to 3rd-party BAS systems
- Modify and update programming on legacy or active systems
- Develop and deploy graphical user interfaces for building systems
- Interpret mechanical drawings and sequence of operations for control logic
- Provide I/O testing, calibration, and operational verification
- Set up and troubleshoot workstations, routers, and networks for BAS systems
- Offer remote and on-site technical support to customers
- Train end users and junior BAS technicians
- Work flexible shifts, including occasional nights and weekends based on projects
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of BAS programming and controls integration experience
- Strong experience with Tridium/Niagara, Delta, Alerton, or Schneider Electric systems
- Ability to write and debug code for commercial BAS environments
- Experience leading projects and mentoring junior technicians
- Excellent communication skills and client-facing experience
- Delta and/or Niagara N4 certification preferred
