Industrial Cooling Corporation (ICC-HVAC), a long-established leader in commercial HVAC and building automation, is hiring a Controls Sales Engineer to expand its controls division across Central and Northern New Jersey. This is a high-impact, sole-salesperson role offering a generous commission structure, hybrid flexibility, and company vehicle. Position Details:
- Title: Controls Sales Engineer
- Location: Metuchen, NJ (Territory: Central and North New Jersey)
- Status: Full-Time | Hybrid (1 day in office after ramp-up)
Ideal Candidate:
- Prior experience in Controls Sales, Sales Engineering, or as an Account Executive in BAS or HVAC controls
- Comfortable generating new business while managing existing accounts
- Familiar with estimating, proposal development, and contract execution
- Experience engaging contractors, engineers, and end users
- Confident in presenting technical solutions and closing project-based sales
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive sales of building automation systems and controls products across assigned territory
- Engage new prospects and build long-term customer relationships
- Respond to RFPs and project bids for retrofit, service, and new construction
- Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure accurate scope and pricing
- Visit client sites, validate specifications, and ensure project alignment
- Represent ICC at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings

- Base Salary: $70,000 – $85,000
- Commissions: 15% of Gross Profit (Ramp-up at 7.5%)
