Controls Technician – Omaha or Lincoln, NE – $38–$48/hr + Bonus + Company Vehicle

A leading Building Automation Systems integrator is hiring a Controls Technician to support commercial BAS projects across Omaha and Lincoln, NE. Technicians are deployed directly to the job site and eventually receive a company vehicle based on performance and experience.
Position Details:

Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience in a Controls Technician or BAS Service role
- Strong skills in troubleshooting and repairing BAS hardware/software
- Capable of creating and modifying control sequences
- Proficient with commissioning protocols and point-to-point checkouts
- Experience with Tridium, Honeywell, Distech, EasyIO, or Siemens preferred
- Excellent communication with clients, contractors, and internal team members
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, test, and commission building automation systems
- Troubleshoot and program BAS software, including rewriting sequences
- Diagnose issues and repair both software and hardware faults
- Support system startups, equipment termination, and integration
- Collaborate with installation and engineering teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Maintain regular communication with facility managers, building owners, and GCs
