BAS Controls Specialist – New York City Metro – $75,000–$95,000 + Overtime + Bonus

About the Opportunity:

A Tier-1 Technology and Integration company is seeking multiple BAS Controls Specialists to support their rapidly growing business across the five boroughs of New York City. This role will primarily serve the NYC metro with minimal travel to North Jersey.

Position Details:

• Title: BAS Controls Specialist
• Location: New York City Metro (based out of Lyndhurst, NJ office)
• Status: Full-Time
• Travel: ~90% NYC Metro / ~10% North Jersey

Key Responsibilities:

• Support service and project teams in the commissioning and maintenance of Building Automation Systems
• Manage your own service contracts and relationships with customers
• Troubleshoot DDC/BMS controllers and address service issues efficiently
• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on controls systems
• Assist with backups, controller setup, and documentation
• Optional: Support DDC programming (block or script-based)
• Integrate 3rd-party systems using BACnet, Modbus, LON, etc.

Ideal Candidate:

• 2–10 years of experience with Building Automation or DDC systems
• Strong troubleshooting, controls logic, and communication skills
• Experience with BAS platforms preferred (e.g., Schneider, Johnson, Honeywell, Tridium)
• Comfortable working independently in the field

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $75,000–$95,000 (DOE)
• Bonus: 5% Annual Bonus
• Overtime: Available & Paid
