Position Details:

• Title: Sr. Service Technician
• Location: Columbia, SC
• Status: Full-Time | Day Shift
• Travel: Local to Columbia area

Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the security or low-voltage field
• Strong understanding of basic electronics and electrical practices
• Ability to install, troubleshoot, and program access control, CCTV, IP cameras, and security alarm systems
• Familiar with major product lines such as DSC, Honeywell, Bosch, and DMP (preferred)
• Excellent documentation and customer communication skills
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and service security and automation systems including alarms, access control, and video surveillance
• Perform preventative maintenance and respond to service calls
• Troubleshoot complex system issues and implement solutions
• Provide training and support to customers regarding service work
• Maintain accurate and timely service documentation
