Position Details:
- Title: Controls Technician
- Location: Kansas City, MO
- Status: Full-Time | Field-Based | On-Call Every 6 Weeks
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in a Controls Technician or BAS Service role
- Strong background in troubleshooting and servicing building automation systems
- Familiar with point-to-point checkouts and commissioning protocols
- Ability to install and test new BAS components
- Experience working with installed control system programs
- Good communicator with owners, users, and contractors
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Tridium or ALC (Automated Logic) experience preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and troubleshoot building automation systems (BAS)
- Install and commission controls hardware and software
- Perform point-to-point verification and system testing
- Assist with system start-ups and ensure programming aligns with design intent
- Make program adjustments and repairs on existing systems
- Work with teams to deliver successful installations and client satisfaction
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: $25.00–$40.00/hr. (Based on experience)
- Overtime: Available
- On-Call: Every 6 Weeks
