Position Details:
- Title: Controls Technician
- Location: Knoxville, TN
- Status: Full-Time | Field-Based | Minimal Overtime
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a Controls Technician or BAS Field Technician
- Proficient in troubleshooting and servicing BAS systems
- Working knowledge of Tridium programming and rewriting sequences
- Capable of installing and testing building automation systems
- Strong understanding of commissioning and point-to-point checkout protocols
- Effective communicator with building owners, end users, and general contractors
- Team-oriented, organized, and detail-focused
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and maintain building automation and control systems
- Assist with programming tasks, particularly using Tridium platforms
- Install and test system hardware and software integrations
- Support equipment startup and termination efforts
- Perform diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades on active BAS installations
- Collaborate with internal controls, installation, and service teams
Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: Up to $115,000 annually (DOE)
