About the Opportunity:

A respected and fast-growing building automation firm is seeking a skilled BAS Controls Engineer to support projects in either the Chicagoland metro areas. Position Details:

• Title: BAS Controls Engineer
• Location: Chicago, IL
• Status: Full-Time | Remote Flexibility Based on Experience

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a BAS Controls Engineer or related position
• Proficient in system layout and design using MS Visio
• Familiarity with Tridium Niagara is highly preferred
• Comfortable visiting customer sites for scoping and job walks
• Capable of developing detailed automation designs and documentation
• Strong understanding of Sequence of Operations for BAS systems
• Collaborative, detail-oriented, and willing to learn new BAS platforms

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage building automation system architecture
• Create detailed submittals and automation documentation
• Develop Sequence of Operations for diverse projects
• Coordinate with field teams and project managers for seamless execution
• Conduct job site walks and support client interactions
• Assist programmers and integrate BAS platforms including Reliable, Delta, Lynxspring, and Tridium-based systems

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: $75,000–$105,000 (DOE)
