An established and innovative Building Automation & Integration firm is hiring a full-time Controls Technician in San Diego, CA. Join a tight-knit, mid-sized team of 50+ professionals known for delivering high-quality integration and service solutions for Class A clients and government facilities. This role is ideal for someone experienced in BMS/DDC service, troubleshooting, and integration who is ready to grow within a dynamic team.

Position Details:

• Title: Controls Technician – BAS Controls
• Location: San Diego, CA
• Compensation: $30–$50/hour + Bonus
• Status: Full-Time

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the existing Controls Technicians
• Primarily support the Service Group, with additional support to the Projects Group
• Manage and maintain assigned Service Contracts
• Troubleshoot BMS/DDC systems and controllers
• Conduct scheduled maintenance and repairs
• Assist with system backups
• Program DDC using block or scripting environments
• Integrate third-party systems (BACnet, Modbus, LON, etc.)

Ideal Candidate:

• Strong hands-on experience with BAS/BMS service and troubleshooting
• Ability to work independently and manage contract commitments
• Working knowledge of DDC programming (block or script-based)
• Experience with system integration protocols
• Great communication and organizational skills
