Position Details:
- Title: BAS System Programmer
- Location: Portland, OR (On-Site Role)
- Salary: $100,000 – $130,000 (DOE)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain control system software according to project specifications
- Install, program, and commission building automation systems (BAS)
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with software and hardware
- Monitor system performance and implement efficiency improvements
- Ensure BAS systems meet performance, efficiency, and design specifications
- Provide technical support to project and commissioning teams
- Conduct regular inspections and perform preventative maintenance
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical schematics
- Document all installations, updates, and repairs accurately
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and BAS technology
Ideal Candidate:
- 5+ years of experience in building automation or MEP construction project management
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and BAS protocols (BACnet, Modbus)
- Experience programming Tridium/Niagara (N4 Certified)
- Familiarity with Distech Controls is a plus
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical construction practices
- BS/BA in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (preferred)
