About the Opportunity:

A fast-growing electrical and power engineering firm is hiring a Licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to support their engineering and field services group based in Houston, TX. This firm is known for their deep expertise in power systems, relay upgrades, SCADA/HMI applications, and protective testing services across critical infrastructure projects.

• Houston, TX (Based out of Cypress area)
• Occasional U.S. travel required

Position Details:

• Title: Electrical Engineer (PE – Professional Engineer)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform engineering assessments of power and low-voltage systems
• Analyze existing conditions and system capacity; make recommendations for upgrades
• Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and equipment installations
• Conduct and review short circuit analysis, arc flash studies, and coordination plans
• Design low voltage systems: controls, instrumentation, life safety, security, and telecom
• Interface with customers to lead technical discussions and design reviews
• Prepare specifications, sequence of operations, and technical reports

Ideal Candidate:

• Professional Engineer (PE) license required
• Experience with arc flash analysis is a must
• Strong background in electrical system design and retrofit projects
• Excellent technical writing and customer communication skills
