A top-tier relay services and protection testing company is hiring a NETA Technician II or III to support high-profile projects across data centers and critical infrastructure. This hands-on role involves testing, commissioning, and diagnostics across a range of electrical systems. Hybrid flexibility and company-provided housing are available.
Location:
- Columbus, OH – Based role
- Travel: Yes – Primarily local to Columbus, but occasional travel may be required
- Hybrid Flexibility: 3 weeks on-site, 1 week remote (based on project needs)
Position Details:

Compensation & Benefits:
- Hourly Rate: Up to $50/hr (depending on experience)

Ideal Candidate:
- Certified NETA Technician (Level II or III)
- Experienced in electrical testing of power apparatus, substations, and switchgear
- Strong knowledge of relaying systems, transformers, circuit breakers, batteries, motors, and cables
- Skilled in diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical systems
- Capable of producing detailed technical reports with findings and recommendations
- Professional communication skills with clients and team members
- Committed to prioritizing safety in all tasks
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical testing services on relaying systems, switchgear, power transformers, motors, grounding systems, and control panels
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting to determine root causes and recommend repairs
- Generate accurate reports detailing work performed and technical findings
- Coordinate with management for manpower, equipment scheduling, and project updates
- Represent the company professionally at job sites
- Follow all required safety procedures and protocols
