This role involves installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of water, wastewater, and industrial control systems, including PLCs, VFDs, SCADA telemetry, and station control panels. Position Details:

• Title: PLC Controls Technician
• Location: Davenport/Eldridge, IA
• Compensation: $28.00–$40.00/hr (DOE) + Overtime
• Schedule: Full-time, ~45 hours/week
• Travel: Primarily to client sites (company vehicle provided)

Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain control systems for industrial and municipal clients.
• Work with PLCs (including Allen-Bradley), VFDs, SCADA telemetry, and station control panels.
• Provide on-call support for emergency or unscheduled repairs.
• Read and interpret ladder logic diagrams and electrical wiring schematics.
• Follow pump manuals and work orders to carry out service and maintenance procedures.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues, replace faulty components, conduct testing, and make adjustments.
• Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge in maintenance and repairs.
• Perform basic machinist tasks with precision and attention to detail.

Ideal Candidate:

• Previous experience as a Controls Technician or similar position.
• Hands-on experience with PLCs, including Allen-Bradley.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot control systems and electrical/mechanical issues.
• Knowledge of ladder logic, schematics, and industrial control systems.
• Capable of supporting on-call and emergency service needs when required.
