This is a hands-on role performing commissioning, testing, maintenance, and troubleshooting of medium and high-voltage electrical systems across critical industries. Responsibilities:

• Perform acceptance, maintenance, and commissioning tests on electrical systems (480V–345kV).
• Test, calibrate, and upgrade protective relays (electromechanical, solid-state, microprocessor).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in switchgear, transformers, breakers, MCCs, and control systems.
• Read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and relay logic.
• Operate advanced test equipment/software (Doble, OMICRON, Megger, RTS/AVTS).
• Ensure compliance with NETA, IEEE, and NFPA 70E safety standards.
• Create and deliver comprehensive test reports to clients and internal teams.
• Travel to client sites on a frequent basis to support field operations.

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience as a Sr. Electrical Field Service Technician or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of circuit breakers, transformers, relays, and power system diagnostics.
• Background in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting electrical power systems.
• NETA certification, Navy Nuclear Electrician’s Mate (EM), or Electronics Technician (ET) background a plus.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to safety and quality.
• Willingness to travel frequently for projects.
