About the Opportunity
A leading smart building & energy management provider is seeking a seasoned
Lead Mobile Developer to own feature development for a cross-platform Flutter app used for
device commissioning and real-time interaction with field devices, sensors, and control systems.
You’ll drive the mobile experience end-to-end, collaborating with product, firmware, and cloud teams.
Limited travel (≈10%) may be required.
Position Details
- Title: Lead Mobile Developer
- Location: Dallas, TX or Remote (U.S.)
- Salary: Up to $150,000 DOE
- Bonus: None
- Travel: ~10%

Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end feature development for a production Flutter application (iOS & Android).
- Integrate with IoT devices and backend services using secure, efficient protocols.
- Optimize performance, reliability, and UX across a wide device footprint.
- Collaborate with product, firmware, and backend teams to scope, design, and ship features.
- Diagnose and resolve defects, performance bottlenecks, and edge-case issues.
- Contribute to app architecture, release strategy, and mobile CI/CD best practices.
Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience as a Lead Mobile Developer or similar role.
- Flutter expertise building and shipping cross-platform apps.
- Background in BAS, energy management, or IoT applications.
- Proficient with RESTful APIs, JSON, and MQTT.
- Strong UI/UX sensibilities; able to simplify complex commissioning workflows.
- Exposure to wireless/field protocols such as BLE, LoRa, and related smart-building standards.
