*Position Overview*

We are seeking a motivated and skilled *Field Service Technician* with *3–5 years of hands-on experience* servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining *CNC machine tools*. This position involves performing new machine installations, precision alignments, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance across customer sites in *Northern Indiana*.

This is a great opportunity for a mid-level technician looking to expand their technical knowledge and work directly with a variety of high-end CNC equipment in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Perform *installation, setup, alignment, and calibration* of new CNC machinery.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and control issues on CNC lathes, mills, and grinders.
* Conduct *preventative maintenance* and ensure optimal machine performance for customers.
* Provide *technical support and training* to customers and operators.
* Document service work, maintain accurate records, and communicate with internal service teams.
* Travel to customer locations throughout *Central Indiana* (some overnight travel required).

*Qualifications*

* *3–5 years of experience* working as a CNC Field Service Technician or in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of *CNC controls (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Okuma, etc.)* and mechanical systems.
* Ability to read and interpret *electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical schematics*.
* Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Strong customer service and communication abilities.
* Must have a *valid driver’s license* and be willing to travel.
* Associate degree in *Electromechanical Technology, Industrial Maintenance, or related field* preferred.

*Schedule*

* *Typical start time:* 8:00 AM
* *Typical end time:* 5:00 PM
* Some overtime or overnight travel as needed.
