About the role:
The Warehouse Assembly Technician is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations and performing basic control panel assembly tasks for building automation systems. This role ensures the accurate handling, organization, and tracking of parts, supplies, and materials while assisting with the preparation and assembly of components used by field installation teams.
The technician will work in a small warehouse environment with one to two team members and must be able to work independently, follow established procedures, and maintain a high level of accuracy and organization. This position requires hands‑on mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Experience
· Performing hands‑on tasks in warehouse, manufacturing, assembly, or logistics environments.
· Handling, tracking, and organizing physical inventory.
· Using hand tools and basic equipment safely and effectively.
· Preparing shipments and receiving materials accurately.
· Working in small teams where reliability, communication, and multitasking are essential.
· Experience in electrical, mechanical, or control panel assembly.
· Familiarity with shipping/receiving processes and warehouse management systems.
· Forklift or pallet jack experience or willingness to obtain certification.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout job sites for extended periods
· Ability to climb ladders, stairs and lifts as required
· Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and work in tight or confined spaces
· Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials up to 50 pounds
· Manual dexterity to handle tools, wiring, and small components
· Ability to work at heights and in varying indoor and outdoor conditions
· Visual keenness to read schematics, labels, and digital displays
· Ability to hear and respond to alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions
· Capability to safely operate hand and power tools
