About the role:
The Director of IT owns and manages Divcon’s overall IT function, with responsibility spanning internal systems, infrastructure, cloud platforms, and system integrations. This role is both strategic and hands-on, responsible for stabilizing and scaling IT operations while enabling business growth through effective system design and integration.
The Director of IT will provide leadership across internal IT operations and external-facing infrastructure used to support customer solutions, ensuring reliability, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
Overall IT Management
- Own day-to-day IT operations and long-term IT strategy
- Establish and enforce IT standards, policies, and operational best practices
- Serve as the primary escalation point for IT, infrastructure, and security matters
Systems & Integration
- Lead ERP onboarding and ongoing optimization
- Design and manage integrations between ERP, internal applications, and third-party systems
- Oversee data flows into downstream platforms, including data warehouse environments
- Ensure system interoperability, data integrity, and scalability
Cloud & Infrastructure (AWS)
- Own Divcon’s AWS infrastructure strategy and execution
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments supporting internal and customer-facing workloads
- Ensure cost control, security, monitoring, and operational resilience within AWS
Customer Network & Solution Design
- Support and review customer network designs as they relate to Divcon-delivered solutions
- Ensure secure, scalable, and supportable architectures for customer environments
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams on deployment standards
Security & Risk Management
- Own cybersecurity posture across corporate and cloud environments
- Define and maintain access control, monitoring, and incident response practices
- Manage security tooling and vendor relationships
Leadership & Vendor Management
- Lead internal IT staff and external partners
- Manage IT budget, vendor contracts, and licensing
- Drive continuous improvement across tools, processes, and platforms
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of AWS architecture and networking concepts
- Ability to balance strategic direction with hands-on execution
- 8–12+ years of IT experience with demonstrated leadership responsibility
- Strong background in enterprise IT operations and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with ERP implementations and third-party system integrations
