Rabalais I&E Constructors is seeking a Site QA/QC Inspector; position is a critical role for the company. This individual must have a good attendance record and have a strong sense of personal responsibility and integrity. Must be able to
follow all safety rules and regulations and work as a part of a team daily.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:- Monitor all aspects of quality control relative to mechanical equipment to ensure adherence to the Company technical requirements and applicable codes.
- Provide weekly input to the QA/QC reporting system, with regards to trends and unresolved exceptions and problems.
- Provide expertise to site team to avoid/resolve quality problems.
- Provide early warning of potential quality problems and ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed.
- Verify that all testing procedures have been approved and are available on site. Confirm testing parameters are duly recorded, signed off and that testing equipment is calibrated.
- Attend and witness testing associated with mechanical equipment and systems. Typical tests include but are not limited to non-destructive examination of designated components, hydrostatic, pneumatic, mechanical QC activities as designated. Witness acceptance tests and final quality checks prior to acceptance as appropriate. Ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed out prior to acceptance of the work.
- Review QA/QC files for accuracy and adequacy.
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- Ability to pass background check and drug screen.
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record.
- Any certifications in MT, PT, or UT is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and inspection assignments.
- Ability to work independently in the field and communicate effectively with contractors, engineers, project managers, and clients.
