Technician HVAC commercial Service (2025-1150)

Role Overview

• We are seeking a skilled and dependable HVAC Commercial Service Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining a variety of commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate takes pride in their technical expertise, delivers outstanding customer service, and is committed to ensuring reliable, efficient building comfort systems for our clients.

What You Bring

• 3+ years of experience in commercial HVAC service and repair (required). - EPA Universal Certification (required). - Technical training or trade school certification in HVAC (preferred). - Strong understanding of HVAC controls, refrigeration cycles, and mechanical systems. - Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and service manuals. - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. - Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. - Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in various environments (heights, rooftops, confined spaces).

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, air handlers, and VAV systems. - Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections on commercial HVAC equipment. - Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues to identify root causes of equipment failures. - Recommend system improvements and repair options to customers in a professional, solution-oriented manner. - Ensure all work complies with safety standards, local building codes, and company policies. - Complete detailed service tickets, equipment logs, and maintenance reports accurately and on time. - Collaborate with dispatch, supervisors, and other technicians to prioritize service calls and ensure customer satisfaction. - Provide emergency on-call service as scheduled.
