We are seeking a Controls Engineer (PLC) to join a highly respected control systems integrator with over 35 years of experience and a national portfolio of cutting-edge industrial automation projects. This is a full-time, in-office role based in North Jackson, OH with minimal travel and no remote work.

Position Details:

• Title: Controls Engineer (PLC)
• Location: North Jackson, OH
• Compensation: $80,000 – $150,000 (DOE)
• Status: Full-Time | In-Office Only | 10% Travel
• Bonus: Annual bonus based on company performance

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience as a Controls Engineer, PLC Programmer, or Systems Integrator
• Strong hands-on expertise with Allen Bradley PLC systems
• Background working with heavy industrial equipment or manufacturing automation
• Proficient in HMI development and field device integration
• Ability to develop and maintain logic diagrams, flowcharts, and system documentation
• Effective communicator with experience providing client support and team mentorship
• Must complete an engineering aptitude test as part of the hiring process

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, program, troubleshoot, and maintain industrial PLC and automation systems
• Develop and implement HMI interfaces for system control and monitoring
• Test and debug systems to ensure reliable operation and performance
• Document controls architecture and create operation manuals
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
• Support client installations and provide both onsite and remote assistance
