About the Opportunity:
An established and fast-growing HVAC controls and automation contractor in the Greater DMV area is looking to add a skilled Controls Programmer to their team. This is a full-time, in-office and field-based position offering excellent compensation, benefits, and growth potential.

Position Details:
- Title: Controls Programmer
- Salary: $100,000 – $110,000 (Depending on Experience)
- Bonus: Discretionary
- Work Type: In-Office + Field Visits

Key Responsibilities:
- Program custom applications from scratch or using prepackaged libraries
- Lead the development of automation system designs and prepare submittals
- Integrate and program controls to interface with third-party BAS platforms
- Modify, upgrade, and maintain programming software for existing systems
- Interpret mechanical/control drawings and sequences of operation for programming and commissioning
- Create and develop BAS front-end graphics for user interfaces
- Test inputs/outputs to verify system calibration and performance
- Install and troubleshoot new workstations, network equipment, and site networks
- Provide on-site and remote technical support and troubleshooting
- Conduct training sessions for end users
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience as a Controls Programmer or BAS Software Technician
- Strong understanding of building automation and integration methods
- Hands-on experience with Tridium platforms (strongly preferred)
- Knowledge of Honeywell, Johnson FX, Vykon, Trane controls systems is a plus
