BAS Systems Specialist / Project Manager – Greater Memphis Area – $40–$50/hr + Full Benefits
About the Opportunity:
A well-established building automation company is seeking a BAS Systems Specialist / Project Manager to support installation, commissioning, and service of HVAC and lighting control systems. The role is based out of the Greater Memphis metro area and covers projects across the Mid-South. Candidates should be experienced with DDC systems and BAS platforms like Tridium and Siemens.

Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Tridium Niagara AX/N4, Siemens Talon, Apogee, PPCL, and ABT
- Familiarity with TCP/IP, MSTP, BACnet, Modbus, and LON protocols preferred
- Hands-on experience with HVAC and lighting control systems
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Visio, Microsoft Word, Excel, and various operating systems
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate installation schedules, commissioning plans, and project milestones with internal teams and contractors
- Monitor project costs and forecast labor/material needs to stay within budget
- Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timeline compliance
- Identify field changes and support pricing of change orders and extra work requests
- Program control logic, download to controllers, implement front-end graphics, and manage databases
- Troubleshoot and resolve DDC system issues, ensuring full operational functionality
- Conduct repairs, adjustments, and calibrations on BAS equipment
- Deliver end-user training and ensure all documentation is completed and submitted on time
- Support service and project teams with technical solutions and programming
- Adhere to all safety and ethical standards on job sites and within client facilities
