About the Opportunity:

A leading fire life safety and security integrator is seeking a skilled Fire Service Technician II to join their team in the Greater Los Angeles and Orange County areas. The position involves providing expert troubleshooting, maintenance, and small system upgrades for fire life safety systems.

Location & Schedule:

• Territory: Los Angeles & Orange County
• Schedule: Hours may vary; must be able to work on-call, weekends, nights, and split shifts as needed
• Travel: Local travel within assigned territory

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $28.00 – $42.00/hr
• Overtime: Available (varies)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct maintenance and service of fire alarm systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues efficiently
• Program fire alarm systems (experience with Edwards EST3 preferred)
• Perform routine maintenance and small project installations
• Set up monitoring accounts and ensure accurate configuration
• Plan daily travel schedules and analyze work orders
• Complete and document all service tickets accurately in the CRM system
• Provide technical support to internal teams and customers
• Assist in training customers on service and system operation

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Fire Service Technician or similar role
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing complex fire alarm systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
