About the Opportunity:

A leading fire life safety and security integrator is seeking an experienced Lead Technician to join their team, overseeing fire and alarm safety system testing across the Greater Los Angeles and Orange County area. Location & Schedule:

• Territory: Los Angeles & Orange County
• Schedule: Hours may vary; must be able to work on-call, weekends, nights, and split shifts as needed
• Travel: Regional travel within assigned territory

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Pay: $33.00 – $38.00/hr
• Overtime: Available (varies)

Key Responsibilities:

• Review testing documentation to develop a clear testing plan
• Lead a team in testing fire and alarm safety systems including smoke, heat, flame detectors, pull stations, water flow switches, sirens, elevator recall systems, and fire doors
• Ensure team compliance with workplace safety regulations
• Perform tasks such as device testing, cleaning, fire panel monitoring, and label verification
• Take detailed notes throughout the testing process
• Collect and submit all testing documentation to the report writer
• Ensure accurate timekeeping and work recording for the team
• Manage time and resources to meet deadlines efficiently

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in fire life safety testing
• Prior experience as a Lead Technician or similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of fire and alarm system components and testing procedures
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
