BAS Controls Project Manager – Newark, NJ – $110,000–$145,000 + Bonus + Benefits

About the Opportunity:

An established Data Center / Building Automation Solutions firm is seeking an experienced BAS Controls Project Manager to oversee major Data Center and Building Automation projects across New Jersey. Position Details:

• Title: BAS Controls Project Manager
• Location: New Jersey (Primarily)
• Compensation: $110,000–$145,000 base + estimated 10% bonus

Responsibilities:

• Manage BAS initiatives for Data Center builds and ensure completion of project milestones.
• Serve as primary liaison between clients and internal technical teams.
• Oversee subcontractors and coordinate installation/service technicians.
• Handle project documentation, RFIs, and change orders.
• Conduct financial planning, budgeting, and scheduling of projects.
• Manage equipment procurement and ensure timely delivery.
• Attend planning meetings and coordinate weekly schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client representatives.
• Frequently visit project sites to oversee progress and ensure quality.

Ideal Candidate:

• Prior experience in BAS project management, preferably within Data Centers.
• Strong technical background in Building Automation Systems and controls.
• Skilled in team leadership, subcontractor oversight, and financial tracking.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
