BAS Controls Project Manager – New Jersey – $110K–$160K + Bonus – Data Center & Building Automation

About the Opportunity:

A leading Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a BAS Controls Project Manager to oversee projects throughout New Jersey. This role is responsible for managing BAS initiatives across mission-critical facilities, ensuring scope, milestones, and budgets are met. Position Details:

• Title: BAS Controls Project Manager
• Location: New Jersey (various throughout)
• Compensation: $110K–$160K (DOE) + ~20% Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Oversee BAS initiatives across large-scale data center and commercial projects.
• Serve as primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal technical teams.
• Supervise subcontractors and manage project schedules and deliverables.
• Handle RFIs, change orders, and maintain project documentation.
• Conduct financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Visit project sites frequently to ensure quality and safety compliance.
• Participate in planning meetings to align schedules and resources.
• Manage procurement of BAS equipment to ensure timely delivery.
• Lead installation and service team technicians as needed.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience managing BAS or MEP projects, preferably in mission-critical environments.
• Strong knowledge of building automation systems and integration practices.
• Proven ability to coordinate subcontractors, internal teams, and client stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project documentation, budgeting, and scheduling tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
