A leading Data Center and Building Automation contractor is seeking a BAS Controls Specialist (Mid & Senior Level) in Ashburn, VA. This role is responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing BAS systems across mission-critical and commercial facilities. Position Details:

• Title: BAS Controls Specialist (Mid & Sr. Level)
• Location: Ashburn, VA
• Compensation: $85K–$140K (DOE) + ~20% Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Commission and troubleshoot BAS controllers, including Tridium/Niagara platforms.
• Rewrite and optimize control sequences for system efficiency.
• Service both open and proprietary building automation systems.
• Perform point-to-point device checkout and system verification.
• Integrate communication protocols such as Modbus, TCP/IP, and BACnet.
• Install DDC controllers, sensors, relays, and panels.
• Assemble and wire low voltage control panels.
• Terminate and label low voltage cabling accurately.
• Calibrate sensors and actuators for accurate system performance.
• Commission systems and maintain detailed daily test logs.

Ideal Candidate:

• Hands-on experience as a BAS Technician, Specialist, or similar role.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and commissioning BAS systems.
• Experience with multiple BAS platforms; Tridium Niagara is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
