Position Details

• Title: Controls Installer / Electrician
• Location: Tampa, FL
• Hiring: Entry, Mid & Senior-Level Installers
• Pay: $20.00 – $40.00/hour (DOE)
• Vehicle: Company vehicle or vehicle allowance (role/region dependent)

Key Responsibilities

• Install, wire, label, and mount BAS panels, controllers, relays, and field devices
• Pull, route, and terminate low-voltage control cabling
• Support technicians and programmers during commissioning and startup
• Read and interpret electrical/control wiring diagrams and schematics
• Maintain safe work practices; adhere to electrical codes and site standards
• Document work performed and update redlines/as-builts as needed

Ideal Candidate

• Experience as a Controls Installer, Low-Voltage Electrician, or similar role
• Hands-on skills with conduit, terminations, labeling, and device mounting
• Familiarity with BAS components, sensors, actuators, and control panels
• Ability to use basic test equipment (multimeter, toner/tracer) and hand tools
• Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail
• Valid driver’s license; ability to travel within Florida
