A well-established commercial and industrial HVAC and Building Automation provider is seeking an experienced
BAS Controls Technician to support ongoing projects across the Greater Toledo region. This role focuses on troubleshooting, installing, commissioning, and supporting BAS/controls systems across a wide range of facility types.

About the Work:
This organization delivers HVAC Controls, BAS Integration, Energy Management, Security/CCTV, Lighting Controls,
and turnkey mechanical solutions for commercial, educational, industrial, municipal, and healthcare environments.
The BAS Controls Technician will support service, retrofits, design-build projects, and system upgrades throughout the Toledo area.
Responsibilities:
- Service, troubleshoot, and support Building Automation Systems (BAS)
- Install, test, and assist in commissioning DDC/BAS equipment and components
- Make system database changes and load software onto programmable controllers
- Perform point-to-point testing and follow commissioning protocols
- Support installation teams during startup, wiring, and equipment terminations
- Troubleshoot existing BAS programs and modify system logic as needed
- Utilize pre-packaged programming libraries to adjust or rewrite sequences
- Create or update BAS front-end graphics for operator interfaces
- Assist with setup of front-end servers and downloading server software
- Communicate effectively with building owners, end users, general contractors, and internal staff
- Work collaboratively in a team environment while managing field responsibilities
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience as a BAS Controls Technician or similar controls-focused role
- Strong troubleshooting skills with BAS, HVAC controls, and DDC systems
- Solid understanding of BAS installation practices and testing procedures
- Comfortable working with BAS programming, graphics, and system databases
- Familiarity with commissioning workflows and system checkout
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
