Position Overview

The BAS Controls Specialist will be responsible for commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing building automation systems within a data center environment. This role emphasizes system reliability, controls optimization, and hands-on technical execution across BAS and DCIM-related systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Commission and troubleshoot BAS controllers and rewrite control sequences
• Service open and proprietary building automation and control systems
• Perform point-to-point device checkout and verification
• Integrate communication protocols including Modbus, TCP/IP, and BACnet
• Install DDC controllers, sensors, relays, and control panels
• Build and wire low-voltage control panels
• Terminate and label low-voltage cabling accurately
• Calibrate sensors and actuators to ensure system accuracy
• Commission systems and document daily testing and results

Ideal Candidate

• Strong background in BAS controls commissioning and troubleshooting
• Experience supporting building automation systems in mission-critical or data center environments preferred
• Comfortable servicing both open and proprietary BAS platforms
• Working knowledge of low-voltage controls, networking, and field devices
• Strong documentation and communication skills
