Controls Service Technician – Building Automation & Energy Systems

Location: Marlborough, MA

Compensation: $30–$38/hr (Flexible) + Bonus ($5K–$10K)

About the Role

A long-standing building automation and energy solutions contractor is seeking a skilled Controls Service Technician to support growth across Massachusetts. You’ll work hands-on with advanced BAS systems, servicing a wide range of commercial and institutional facilities. Key Responsibilities

• Install, test, and commission building automation systems
• Troubleshoot and update existing BAS programming and logic
• Rewrite sequences using pre-packaged libraries or custom programming
• Perform point-to-point system verification and commissioning
• Assist with equipment startup, server setup, and front-end configuration
• Coordinate with project teams, clients, and end users on-site

Ideal Candidate

• 2–5 years’ experience in BAS/controls service roles
• Tridium product line experience preferred
• Familiar with Honeywell, Johnson Controls, Alerton, Trane, or Siemens systems
• Strong communicator; comfortable working with clients and field teams

Compensation & Benefits

• Hourly Pay: $30.00 – $38.00/hr (DOE)
• Bonus: $5,000 – $10,000/year
