Responsibilities:
POSITION SUMMARY & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Supervisor of Production Allocation is responsible for the execution, oversight, and accuracy of daily and monthly production allocation processes for oil, gas, and water. This role ensures production data is validated, allocated, and reported accurately in accordance with established Production Accounting and Gross Revenue Distribution processes and internal controls.
The Supervisor works closely with Production Data Analysts and cross-functional partners including Accounting, Operations, Planning, Midstream, and Marketing to support timely production reporting and month-end close activities. This role focuses on operational excellence, issue resolution, and team coordination, while escalating systemic or strategic matters to management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily and monthly execution of upstream and downstream production allocations in accordance with established MA procedures.
- Review, analyze, and validate production data for completeness and accuracy prior to entry and approval within corporate reporting systems.
- Coordinate the resolution of data discrepancies and allocation variances, ensuring timely correction.
- Monitor data quality and allocation accuracy within the Enertia ERP system and associated production data platforms.
- Ensure input production data errors and system issues are documented, tracked, and escalated appropriately when required.
- Supervise the day-to-day work activities of Production Data Analysts (PDAs), including workload coordination and quality review.
- Review and route requests for PPA’s for gas and liquid measurement in accordance with established guidelines.
- Support monthly allocation close (“Month End”) activities by compiling and reviewing production data and supporting required approvals.
- Maintain operational linkages between production systems (Cygnet, FDC, FlowCal, Enertia) and assist with troubleshooting data flow issues.
- Prepare routine allocation summaries, metrics, and issue logs for management review.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day work guidance and task prioritization for Production Data Analysts.
- Review completed work for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with procedures.
- Identify training needs and assist with onboarding under direction of management.
- Escalate performance concerns, resource constraints, or recurring issues to management.
Qualifications:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Experience with oil and gas production data, allocation, or measurement processes.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify data issues and drive resolution.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across functional teams.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
- Experience with SQL scripting or databases is a plus.

- SCADA systems (Cygnet, Wonderware, Ignition, etc)
- Power BI or similar reporting tools
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Exposure to AI‑enabled productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to support data analysis, documentation, issue investigation, and workflow efficiency.
Office Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods working at a desk in front of a computer.
