AWS/CES is looking for a CNC Operator (G-Code Programming Required) in Wilmington, NC

Pay: $25.00/hour

Shift: 2nd Shift : Monday- Thursday 3:30pm-2am

Weekend Shift Available: Friday-Sunday 5am-5pm

Canadian Executive Search Group (CES/AWS) is currently seeking an experienced CNC Operator for a growing manufacturing facility in Wilmington, NC. This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with CNC machining experience and a solid understanding of G-Code programming looking for a stable, long-term career.
Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC shot peening machines

Read, understand, and work with G-Code programs

Perform first-piece inspections and verify product quality

Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments

Follow quality standards and production requirements

Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

Follow all company safety policies and procedures

Qualifications

Previous CNC Operator experience required

Working knowledge of G-Code programming

Experience with Fanuc CNC controls preferred

Strong understanding of machining processes and tooling

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings

Excellent attention to detail

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Reliable attendance and a positive work ethic

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed

Perform repetitive tasks while safely operating machinery
