A leading mechanical contractor is seeking a driven and experienced Sr. Account Executive to join their sales team in the Phoenix market. This opportunity is ideal for a high-performing sales professional with experience selling complex HVAC and controls solutions to D/C-level executives across diverse vertical markets.
Position Details:
- Title: Sr. Account Executive

- Status: Full-Time / Local Travel as Required
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of progressive sales experience in HVAC/Controls or a related industry
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experience
- Proven success targeting and closing D/C-level decision-makers
- Strategic thinker with a strong command of account planning and management
- Comfortable presenting technical solutions and value propositions to building owners and facilities executives
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies based on vertical market targeting
- Identify new business opportunities and manage full-cycle sales processes
- Confidently present bundled HVAC and building services offerings to maximize profitability
- Build relationships and generate leads through a strong professional network
- Use tools such as Salesforce and CRM platforms to manage pipeline and reporting
- Participate in inspections and ensure smooth project handoff and client onboarding
- Draft and deliver proposals with a clear understanding of scope and value
- Attend trade shows and industry events to support business development
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align client needs with project delivery
Offered Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $80,000–$100,000+ (Depending on Experience)
