A leading commercial HVAC and Building Automation services provider is seeking a dynamic and driven BAS Project Sales Representative to join their team in Denver, CO. This position plays a pivotal role in driving new business, supporting client upgrades, and consulting on advanced energy-saving strategies.
This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with deep knowledge of building automation systems (BAS), commercial HVAC systems, and energy efficiency measures. First-year on-target earnings (OTE) range from $150,000 to $200,000 with a strong base salary and vehicle allowance.

What’s Offered
- Base Salary: Up to $90,000

Role Overview
This position is responsible for selling building automation solutions, driving service and retrofit sales, and supporting customers through the lifecycle of their energy and BAS upgrades. The role includes significant client-facing time, job walks, proposal development, and strategic account management.
Responsibilities include:
- Developing and prospecting new leads and opportunities within the building automation industry
- Maintaining and growing existing client relationships—75% of leads will come from current customers
- Conducting site visits, job walks, and customer consultations
- Estimating, writing proposals, and creating detailed sales packages
- Consulting on energy-saving strategies for commercial HVAC and lighting systems
- Managing client service agreements and pricing for retrofits and upgrades
- Effectively communicating technical concepts and ROI benefits to decision makers
- Working with facility managers, building engineers, and executive-level contacts
What We’re Looking For
- 5–7 years of sales experience in Building Automation, BAS, or mechanical services
- Understanding of commercial HVAC systems and BAS designs, including Sequence of Operations
- Strong sales acumen and ability to close complex deals
- Proven ability to explain energy-saving technologies and build value-based solutions
- Excellent communication, strategic planning, and relationship management skills
