Job Details:
This role is ideal for a programmer who wants to take ownership of BAS control systems from programming through commissioning. You’ll work in both the office and field to ensure seamless implementation of controls on retrofit, service, and design-build projects.
Responsibilities:
- Program control systems from scratch or using pre-configured libraries
- Create control databases and complete full system programming
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain system performance onsite and remotely
- Build and modify graphical user interfaces, especially Tridium frontends
- Develop solutions using BACnet or similar communication protocols
- Collaborate with internal teams and communicate effectively with clients
- Ensure system meets customer requirements and functions as intended
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience as a Controls Programmer or similar role
- Experience with Schneider Electric or Tridium strongly preferred
- Proficiency with BAS platforms, HVAC system integration, and frontend graphics
- Solid understanding of BACnet and controls communication standards
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Field and office flexibility; capable of working independently
