Job Details
- Position: Controls Programmer
- Location: Columbus, OH
Responsibilities:
- Develop and program custom BAS applications from scratch or using pre-packaged libraries
- Create control system databases and configure BACnet-based communications
- Troubleshoot and modify existing BAS programs and sequences
- Work closely with project managers, field technicians, and service teams to ensure smooth installations and functionality
- Perform on-site programming and commissioning of building automation systems
- Provide technical support for field team members and ensure compliance with control system requirements
- Interpret control drawings and Tridium front-end graphics
What you bring:
- Prior experience as a Controls Programmer, Systems Specialist, or BAS Technician
- Proficiency in Tridium/Niagara programming (preferred)
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems and their integration into building automation
- Hands-on experience with BACnet and control protocols
- Ability to manage BAS programming projects from start to finish
- Effective communicator and problem solver in both office and field environments
