Job Details
- Position: Controls Manager
- Location: St. Louis, MO
Responsibilities:
- Oversee a team of controls engineers and technicians delivering optimized BAS and energy solutions
- Manage the design, implementation, and performance of control systems for HVAC, lighting, access control, and energy systems
- Oversee project development including scheduling, manpower allocation, budgeting, and reporting
- Lead internal team meetings and external project coordination with subcontractors and clients
- Assign engineering tasks, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery of solutions
- Work directly with customers to ensure project success and satisfaction
- Lead quality control, resource planning, and continuous process improvement within the controls department
What you bring:
- Experience as a Controls Manager or in a senior BAS project management role
- Strong understanding of building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, access control)
- Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams
- Excellent project planning, budgeting, and communication skills
- Experience with Distech, Reliable, or Tridium platforms is a plus
