Job Details

• Position: Controls Manager
• Location: St. Louis, MO

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a team of controls engineers and technicians delivering optimized BAS and energy solutions
• Manage the design, implementation, and performance of control systems for HVAC, lighting, access control, and energy systems
• Oversee project development including scheduling, manpower allocation, budgeting, and reporting
• Lead internal team meetings and external project coordination with subcontractors and clients
• Assign engineering tasks, monitor progress, and ensure on-time delivery of solutions
• Work directly with customers to ensure project success and satisfaction
• Lead quality control, resource planning, and continuous process improvement within the controls department

What you bring:

• Experience as a Controls Manager or in a senior BAS project management role
• Strong understanding of building automation systems (HVAC, lighting, access control)
• Proven ability to lead and mentor technical teams
• Excellent project planning, budgeting, and communication skills
• Experience with Distech, Reliable, or Tridium platforms is a plus
