Job Details
- Position: BAS Programmer
- Location: Union City, CA (Bay Area)
Responsibilities:
- Program custom building automation applications from scratch using Tridium
- Create and manage controls databases and graphical front-end interfaces
- Perform system testing, point-to-point commissioning, and troubleshooting
- Support controls installations and assist with equipment startup and terminations
- Work closely with project teams and field technicians to ensure system functionality
- Manage automation projects from development through final implementation
- Perform 3rd-party integrations using BACnet, Modbus, and LON protocols
- Contribute to the selection of parts and components during bid processes
- Support project closeout processes including documentation and as-builts
What you bring:
- 3+ years of experience as a BAS Programmer or Controls Engineer
- Extensive experience with Tridium; Distech preferred
- Strong understanding of BAS protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LON)
- Experience with commissioning protocols and troubleshooting methodologies
- Proficiency with AutoCAD or Visio
- Ability to thrive in both office and field settings
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
