Job Details

• Position: BAS Programmer
• Location: Union City, CA (Bay Area)

Responsibilities:

• Program custom building automation applications from scratch using Tridium
• Create and manage controls databases and graphical front-end interfaces
• Perform system testing, point-to-point commissioning, and troubleshooting
• Support controls installations and assist with equipment startup and terminations
• Work closely with project teams and field technicians to ensure system functionality
• Manage automation projects from development through final implementation
• Perform 3rd-party integrations using BACnet, Modbus, and LON protocols
• Contribute to the selection of parts and components during bid processes
• Support project closeout processes including documentation and as-builts

What you bring:

• 3+ years of experience as a BAS Programmer or Controls Engineer
• Extensive experience with Tridium; Distech preferred
• Strong understanding of BAS protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LON)
• Experience with commissioning protocols and troubleshooting methodologies
• Proficiency with AutoCAD or Visio
• Ability to thrive in both office and field settings
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
