Controls Technician – Casper, WY

Overview:

An established building automation and energy integration company with a 30+ year history is seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join their team in Casper, WY. This role supports a variety of industries and projects, including service, retrofit, and new construction work. The ideal candidate will have strong BAS troubleshooting skills, programming experience, and enjoy working in the field with a close-knit team.

• Salary: Up to $45/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS)
• Work with DDC systems and field-level controllers for HVAC and energy systems
• Perform point-to-point checkouts and commissioning protocols
• Review and adjust BAS programs, rewrite sequences as necessary
• Coordinate with project teams on start-up and system integration tasks
• Communicate with end users, general contractors, and internal teams
• Document installation, programming, and testing efforts accurately

Qualifications:

• Prior experience as a Controls Technician or similar BAS position
• Hands-on knowledge of BAS troubleshooting and system diagnostics
• Understanding of HVAC systems and control principles
• Programming knowledge preferred (experience with Schneider or Tridium a plus)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Must pass background check and drug screening
