Lead Fire/Safety Testing Technician – Greater Los Angeles Area – $30–$52/hr. + Company Vehicle
Overview:
Are you a skilled fire life safety technician with a background in testing, troubleshooting, and system programming? A premier fire and security integrator in Southern California is seeking a Lead Fire/Safety Testing Technician to lead fire alarm testing projects throughout Los Angeles, Ventura, and Orange County.

- Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $38.00/hr. (Up to $52/hr. with Reg4 certification)

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage testing of fire alarm and safety systems across multiple facilities
- Oversee a team of technicians and coordinate with subcontractors and facility staff
- Test devices per NFPA standards and ensure proper labeling, documentation, and reporting
- Troubleshoot and diagnose fire alarm system issues
- Program systems using appropriate software tools
- Ensure documentation changes and service records are updated accurately and timely
- Provide exceptional customer service and clearly communicate test outcomes and recommendations
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Fire Testing Lead Technician or similar
- Strong familiarity with NFPA codes and fire alarm systems
- Ability to lead field teams and communicate effectively with clients and contractors
- Experience programming and troubleshooting alarm systems
- Valid driver’s license and clean background check
