An established mechanical and controls firm is hiring a skilled Controls Service Technician to support its growing client base in the Charlotte metro area. This is a high-impact field role for technicians with Tridium experience and strong service, startup, and programming skills in commercial and healthcare environments.

What You’ll Do:

• Install, service, and commission HVAC control systems
• Perform point-to-point checkout and functional testing
• Program BAS systems from scratch and edit control sequences
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-level issues
• Work closely with installation teams and perform field terminations
• Ensure remote and onsite equipment is running securely and efficiently
• Execute preventative maintenance and provide upgrade recommendations
• Communicate clearly with building owners and facilities personnel

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of experience in a Controls or BAS Technician role
• Proficiency with Tridium Niagara systems (required)
• Experience with control system programming and graphics
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and construction drawings
• Strong field commissioning and startup experience
• Customer-focused communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally in Charlotte
