Office Tridium Programmer – San Jose, CA – $85,000 to $140,000 (Mid & Sr-Level)

About the Role:

We’re seeking a Tridium Programmer to join a cutting-edge Building Automation Systems (BAS) division of a long-established mechanical solutions firm in San Jose, CA. This role is primarily office-based with only 10–15% job-site visits, ideal for someone who wants to stay hands-on in code and logic without being constantly in the field.

Position Overview:

• Title: Office Tridium Programmer
• Location: San Jose, CA
• Travel: Approx. 10–15% (job walks & events)
• Experience Required: Tridium Niagara (N4, AX, R2), BACnet, Modbus, LON integration

Key Responsibilities:

• Program Tridium Niagara (N4/AX/R2) applications from libraries or custom code
• Integrate communication protocols: BACnet, LON, Modbus
• Develop control system schematics, network architecture, and panel layouts
• Create and implement DDC logic, graphics, alarm points, and loop tuning
• Review and track project submittals and generate RFIs
• Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and hardware vendors
• Contribute to projects with heavy customization and strong quality control
