We’re seeking a seasoned Building Automation Systems (BAS) Consultant to join a leading facilities services and construction solutions provider based in Franklin, TN. You'll be the go-to technical sales expert for controls offerings across Tennessee—building lasting client relationships and delivering end-to-end solutions for commercial automation needs.
Position Details:
- Title: BAS Consultant – Technical Services
- Location: Franklin, TN (Territory includes: Nashville, Murfreesboro, Columbia, Chattanooga, Cookeville, Hendersonville, Mt. Juliet)
- Status: Full-Time | In-Field | Commission Eligible
- Base Salary: $90,000
- 1st Year OTE: $160,000+
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s in business, engineering, or related discipline (mechanical/electrical preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of field sales experience
- 3+ years of experience selling BAS or HVAC-related services or projects
- Proven ability to execute a consultative selling approach
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, controls, and system commissioning
Key Responsibilities:
- Sell BAS offerings and represent the full value proposition of the company
- Build, maintain, and expand client relationships in the commercial sector
- Perform site assessments, develop estimates, and create proposals
- Review project documents such as blueprints and specifications
- Negotiate contracts and close sales to meet monthly and annual goals
- Coordinate closely with internal teams including project managers and estimators
- Understand Test and Balance procedures and commissioning protocols
