BAS Controls Design Engineer – West Chester, OH – $85,000–$120,000 + 10% Bonus

About the Opportunity:

A large Tier-1 Energy & Automation Solutions provider is seeking a BAS Controls Design Engineer to support enterprise-level Building Automation projects. This company is well-known for delivering high-impact infrastructure and technology solutions across industries, including commercial buildings, data centers, and mission-critical environments.

Position Details:

• Title: BAS Controls Design Engineer
• Location: West Chester, OH
• Status: Full-Time | On-Site

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience designing Building Automation Systems (BAS/DDC)
• Proficient in AutoCAD or MS Visio
• Understanding of control panel layout, schematics, and network architecture
• Bonus: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Familiarity with BACnet and/or Modbus protocol integration

Key Responsibilities:

• Design network architecture and floor plans for BAS/DDC systems
• Create wiring schematics and control panel layouts
• Redline and update drawings as needed
• Write and revise Sequences of Operations (SOOs)
• Coordinate with Project Managers, equipment vendors, and subcontractors
• Manage submittals and generate RFIs
• Ensure designs align with system architecture and performance goals

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $85,000 – $120,000 (DOE)
• Bonus: 10% Annual Performance Bonus
