A leading provider of customized building automation and energy solutions is seeking a skilled Lead BAS Controls Technician/Programmer to join their team in Staten Island, NY. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage complex BAS/BMS systems across the Tri-State area, with a focus on hands-on programming, system optimization, and customer service.

Position Details:

• Title: Lead BAS Controls Technician/Programmer
• Location: Staten Island, NY (Tri-State Territory)
• Status: Full-Time | On-Site + Field-Based

Ideal Candidate:

• 5+ years of experience in BAS/BMS controls
• Niagara Certification – required
• Ability to read and interpret BAS/BMS schematics
• Strong programming, startup, and commissioning skills
• Proficient in troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of BAS systems
• Experience with point-to-point checks and system integration
• Comfortable managing and monitoring systems from an office-based interface
• Excellent communication and leadership skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Program, commission, and support building automation systems across multiple sites
• Oversee BAS/BMS operations via computer interface and respond to service calls
• Perform system diagnostics and repairs for HVAC control systems
• Lead service and retrofit initiatives on automation platforms
• Support system design improvements and future upgrade strategies

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 (DOE)
