$80K–$140K – BAS Programmer/Technician – San Francisco Bay Area
About the Opportunity:
A top-tier Building Automation firm is hiring a Programmer/Technician to support projects throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. This role offers a mix of 80% field work and 20% remote or office time and is open to Union or Non-Union candidates.

Position Overview:
- Title: BAS Programmer/Technician
- Location: San Francisco Bay Area
- Status: Union or Non-Union
- Work Type: 80% Field / 20% Remote or Office
- Compensation: $80,000–$140,000 (Depending on Experience) + Overtime
Responsibilities:
- Work on a mix of service, retrofit, and new construction controls projects
- Program DDC controls and support field system startup and commissioning
- Rewrite sequences and troubleshoot control system issues
- Create applications using pre-packaged libraries or from scratch
- Manage your own projects and fieldwork independently
- Perform 3rd-party integrations (BACnet, Modbus, LON, etc.)
- Configure system alarms, trends, and interfaces
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years of experience in Schneider Electric BAS/Controls programming product lines
- Schneider Electric product line experience preferred
- Skilled in system integration and field troubleshooting
- Capable of managing project timelines and deliverables independently
Project & Client Scope:
- Clients include: Commercial Buildings, Healthcare Facilities, Schools, Government, Hotels, Airports, and Stadiums
- Project Types: Design-Build, Retrofit, Service
- Direct-to-owner delivery model
