About the Opportunity:
An established Tier-1 Building Automation company is looking to hire a skilled Delta Controls Tech/Programmer to support both service and project-based installations throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The role offers an 80% field / 20% office or remote split and is open to both Union and Non-Union candidates. Position Details:
- Title: Delta Controls Tech/Programmer
- Location: San Francisco Bay Area
- Schedule: 80% Field / 20% Office or Remote
- Status: Union or Non-Union
- Compensation: $80,000–$140,000 (DOE) + Overtime
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform programming and startup of Delta Controls DDC systems
- Manage retrofit, service, and new construction projects
- Troubleshoot control systems and rewrite sequences as needed
- Create applications from prebuilt libraries or develop from scratch
- Perform third-party integration (BACnet, Modbus, LON, etc.)
- Configure system dashboards, alarms, and trends
- Independently manage and execute project delivery in the field
Ideal Candidate:
- 3+ years experience with Delta Controls systems
- DDC programming and integration expertise
- Strong background in HVAC controls installation and commissioning
- Comfortable with fieldwork and remote project oversight
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
